As a 5th generation New Mexico cattle rancher and government relations expert, I know all too well, the monumental challenges facing everyday New Mexicans.

Growing up on a northeastern New Mexico cattle ranch, in a family of ranchers and statesmen, land, water, and policy shaped daily life. That upbringing led me into a career spent inside the systems that govern our state.

Over the years, I’ve worked with lawmakers, agency leaders, local governments, and community partners to interpret legislation, resolve conflicts, and move difficult issues forward. I’ve helped shape policy agendas, guided major land and energy negotiations, and worked on initiatives that affect everything from rural economies to statewide case management systems.

These experiences give me a vantage point few people have: a lived understanding of how policy is made, how it affects communities, and how collaboration can change outcomes.
